Our Resource Portal is controlled by a content management system that allows for selective access to different types of resources.
Currently, we have the following access policies in place, some of which require an active user account, some even require additional verification:

	Public Access Resources can be accessed by anonymous users visiting the site no user account and/or login required.
	Registered Users Only Resources can be accessed only by authenticated users only, some special content may be still restricted (see advanced user accounts below) users have to create an account through www.sbse.org/user/register SBSE membership is not required for this process account requests are pending approval and reviewed by moderators once approved users can login to access restricted content
	SBSE Member Access Only Resources that require an active membership (i.e. you need to be current on your dues). in addition to a membership account (https://members.sbse.org) users have to create a site user account through www.sbse.org/user/register in the account settings users should select the SBSE membership checkbox account requests/status changes are pending approval by moderators once approved users can login to access restricted content
	Authenticated Educators Only Resources are restricted to educators only - verification required and must be verified by moderators. users have to create an account in the account settings users should select the "Active Educator" checkbox and provide a verification URL at this point, SBSE membership is not required for requesting educator status account requests/status changes are pending approval by moderators once approved users can login to access restricted content
