PLEA 2024 theme and vision: (Re)thinking resilience

Let us (re)think together to be an instrument for a change and to make a significant difference together. Welcome to the first PLEA Conference in central Europe!

Location for Conference: Wrocław, the green capital of Poland, Cultural Capital of Culture 2016, medieval city in the heart of Europe and the place where the European modernism created its masterpieces, would love to welcome PLEA 2024 delegates! Wrocław is easily accessible and has opinion of the most beautiful and hospitable academic city in Poland, with plenty of tourist attractions, still safe and not overcrowded. The conference will be host by Wroclaw University of Science and Technology who offered their modern, comfortable and centrally positioned Congress Centre. Other conference events will be organized in Museum of Architecture (Bernardine cloister) and in Centennial Hall (UNESCO Heritage List).

The Conference will be preceded by an event dedicated to the Mission Adaptation to climate change, during which we hope to strengthen cooperation between representatives of the world of science,

politics and business. We will invite local governments and regional authorities that are signatories of the Climate Charter to participate in the workshop on 25th June 2024.

During the conference we will invite you to the series on-site visits, guided tours and additional events. More information will be available on the conference social media and Website which will be launched in a couple of weeks.

We are very much looking forward to seeing you in Poland!
