The
ASES/ SBSE Green Architecture Student Poster Contest
The
Society of Building Science Educators is sponsoring a contest at the
2005 Solar World Conference
focusing on architectural applications of solar and renewable energies,
energy efficiency, and green design.
Poster presentations should address topics related to the integration of
passive design strategies in buildings (heating, cooling, and
daylighting), the use of renewable resources in buildings (solar, PV,
wind, geothermal, biomass, daylighting), energy efficiency through
architectural design, and/or green practices for buildings (indoor air
quality, resource conservation, etc..). We are interested in recognizing
case studies, studio projects and other student research, analysis
and/or design work that demonstrate the integration of these progressive
building technologies and design and/or address building and building
system performance.
This
poster competition is open to students in any program (architecture,
landscape architecture, engineering, construction, interior design,
physics, etc..) as long as the focus of the work is applied rather than
theoretical, and relates to building design, construction and/or
performance.
